Make a real difference in your community

At Insight Lewisham, we provide free, confidential support to young people under 25, offering guidance around substance use, sexual health and relationships, while working with families to strengthen wellbeing and recovery.

About the Role

As a CYPF Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children, young people, and families affected by drug or alcohol use. You will build trusted relationships, offer early interventions, and provide structured support aimed at reducing harm and empowering recovery. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same — from delivering one-to-one sessions and group interventions, to working collaboratively with families, schools, partner agencies and specialist services.

You’ll be part of a passionate multi-disciplinary team committed to safeguarding, wellbeing, and creating brighter futures for young people in Lewisham.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions (1:1, group work, digital sessions, webinars, live chats, podcasts)
  • Provide full case management — including assessments, risk planning, progress reviews and accurate recording
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure joined-up care and safe discharge planning
  • Use a whole-family approach to reduce substance-related harm and improve outcomes at home
  • Safeguard children and young people, escalating concerns in line with policies and best practice
  • Support access to treatment, community support and opportunities to build recovery capital
  • Engage in ongoing training, clinical supervision and professional development
  • Lead and manage the service’s social media accounts and marketing activity, liaising with Communications colleagues where required to ensure responsible, engaging and aligned content

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
