Overnight Complex Care Assistant – Night & Day Shift (£13.50/hr) | Rochford, South East England

Pay & Shifts
Rate: £13.50 per hour Shifts Available:
- Waking Nights: 10 pm – 7 am (every 2nd Friday + contingency cover available)
- Day Shift: 8 am – 2 pm or 9 am – 3 pm (1 day per week, flexible)
Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
In this vital and fulfilling role, you’ll provide expert overnight support to a non-mobile child in their family home. Residents have diverse needs, including:
- Spinal cord injuries
- Muscular dystrophy
- Acquired brain injuries
- Other complex care needs
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality personal care tailored to a young individual’s needs
- Administering medication via PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
- Supporting respiratory care and managing seizures
- Creating environments where care is kind, skilled, and empowering
- Developing your own skills, confidence, and compassion through hands-on experience
Your Working Environment

What We’re Looking For
Suited to those who wish to enter the Complex Care Assistant role, with a focus on building your skill set:
- Experience (or willingness) to care for a child
- No prior training required – full nurse-led training will be provided
