Fixed-Wake Night Shift Care Assistant – Luton (Complex Care Team)
Company Description
Pay: £13.50 – £14.00 per hour
Shifts: Waking night shifts (22:00 – 10:00) Minimum commitment: 2 shifts per week Driver required? No

Job Description
What You’ll Do
As a Fixed-Wake Night Shift Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and dignity of a 10-year-old child in a family home at night.
This is a significant, meaningful, and rewarding role that requires:
- A confident, caring, and professional approach to support the child effectively.
- Sensitivity and patience in providing long-term night-time care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with personal care and hygiene.
- Medication administration via NG Tube.
- Suction management where necessary.
- Safe moving and handling.
- Providing constant comfort, reassurance, and emotional support.
Requirements
Experience: Not strictly required—Confidence and a caring attitude are paramount.
Details:
- Experience in complex care is not essential due to in-depth training provided by our nurses.
- Full induction and training are included—no previous experience needed.
- The role offers clear career progression into senior and leadership positions.
