Complex Care Assistant (Children) – In-Home Support Role

Role Overview
Pay & Shifts
- Salary: £13.50 per hour
- Shifts: Waking nights | 9:30 PM – 7:30 AM | 2 shifts per week
Driver Requirement
Compulsory: Due to location, you must have a valid driving licence and access to a car for this role.

We’re looking for a compassionate Complex Care Assistant with experience supporting children (or a willingness to develop in this area).

Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting a young client living at home with their parents, who has epilepsy with frequent seizures.
- Preferably, but not exclusively, has experience in seizure management.
- Assessing and managing in-home care safely and sensitively within a family environment.
- Providing night shifts (11 hours per shift) with observations, ensuring real-time monitoring and a safe response to medical needs.
- Delivering personal care, following child-centred protocols while remaining discreet and respectful.
- Maintaining high-quality communication with the kid and their parents, reports, and our team.

Requirements & Skills
Essentials
- A valid driving licence and vehicle (due to remote location).
- Motivation to develop (no prior complex care experience required).
- Passion for person-centred care in a supportive family setting.

Desirable
- Prior experience working with children (age: 0–18).
- First aid certification of CVV or higher to support epilepsy management (training covered upon joining).
