Registered Manager for Children’s Home Team
Location: Durham
We are recruiting a Registered Manager for our client’s Children’s Home team.

About the Role
We are partnering with an exceptional children’s home provider dedicated to delivering best-in-class residential care for children with complex needs. Their mission is to give every child the safe, loving, and joyful childhood they deserve – filled with laughter, friendship, and opportunity.
As a Registered Manager, you’ll have the autonomy and support to shape a nurturing home environment where children can truly thrive. You’ll lead with purpose, backed by a values-driven organisation that invests in your development, wellbeing, and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Lead a compassionate team in delivering exceptional residential care
- Create and maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing home environment for children with complex needs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practice in children’s care
- Foster meaningful relationships with children, supporting their personal growth and emotional wellbeing
- Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams, including social workers and education providers
- Ensure staff are well-trained, supported, and aligned with the home’s values and mission
- Drives continuous improvement through feedback, monitoring, and performance evaluation

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s home
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent recognition)
- Level 4 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- A Full UK Driving Licence
