About the Role

Our team within the South East are seeking an experienced 'Children's Nurse' to come on board and provide holistic one to one care within the patient's own home.

This position allows you to provide quality nursing that is tailored to the child's needs. You will ensure all professional standards are excelled and provide treatment for a wide range of conditions including growth hormone and biologic treatments for conditions such as juvenile arthritis, Crohn's disease and psoriasis.

You will have the opportunity to manage your own daily workload including maintaining stock, supplies and equipment. During each visit you will ensure all clinical data is accurately recorded to ensure quality care is maintained and delivered, and any adverse effects reported via the correct protocol.

A full UK driving licence will be required as you will cover a regional area covering West London and the surrounding South East.

What is Required?

As an registered Children's Nurse, you must be happy working Monday - Friday 9-5pm with some occasional weekends, we will also require you to have the following skills and attributes:

  • Competent in the administration of IV therapies.
  • Venepuncture
  • Ability to confidently work autonomously
  • Teaching and assessing experience
  • Previous community experience would be an advantage
