Barnet Children’s Integrated Therapies has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a 0.5 WTE (2.5 days per week) permanent post.
This role involves working within special schools in Barnet, supporting children and young people of school age. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, working closely with Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists Therapy Assistants, and school staff.
A key part of this role is contributing to the development and delivery of the targeted and universal therapy offer within special schools, with a strong focus on collaborative working with school staff to build capacity and embed therapeutic approaches.
You will have opportunities for Agile working arrangements, including the provision of mobile technology and flexible working hours and arrangements.
About The Role
Occupational Therapists (OTs) in Barnet work as part of a dynamic Integrated Therapy Team. The wider service supports children and young people aged 0–19 across a range of settings, including special schools, mainstream schools, and clinics, with needs ranging from mild to complex.

Your Role Will Include
- Providing specialist assessment, advice, and intervention in 1:1 and group settings
- Working collaboratively with school staff to embed therapeutic strategies
- Supporting the development of universal and targeted training offers for schools and parents
- Building strong relationships with education settings and families
