About The Role

In this role, you will work in the residential home providing a loving and caring environment. You will be supported by our dedicated professionals and contribute to our great culture, ensuring each child is treated with understanding, dignity, kindness, and respect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support and care for children in a residential setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Maintain open communication with children, families, and team members to foster a supportive environment.
  • Drive children to appointments and activities as needed, ensuring timely arrivals.
  • Document progress and any incidents accurately, utilizing IT systems for record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Form positive relationships with children based on respect and openness.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children in a residential setting.
  • Awareness of safeguarding from harm and the ability to assess and manage risk.
  • Ideally, you will have a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
  • Aged 21 and over due to industry regulations.
  • Must have a full UK valid Driving license and access to a vehicle insured for business use.
