Children's Residential Care Worker – Dove Cottage, Sandy
Department: Residential
Location: Dove Cottage – Sandy
Compensation: £34,402 – £35,025 per year
Baseline rate of £13.45 – £13.75 per hour (depending on qualifications), increasing with 8 sleep nights/month.
The Role
Join Esland, an organisation committed to transforming children's lives through specialist residential care.
We are looking for compassionate, supportive individuals to provide trauma-informed therapeutic care in our 3-bedroom children’s home, Dove Cottage.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing, therapeutic residential care to children aged 8-18 experiencing complex issues
- Engage in recreational and therapeutic activities tailored to the child’s needs
- Contribute to shift pattern planning and duty cover as required
- Support young people in buildings skills, confidence, and emotional resiliency
- Collaborate with the team to deliver continued positive change
- Utilise insights from training to improve care standards and outcomes
Essential Requirements

Full UK driving licence

Over 21 years of age

Eligibility for Full Enhanced DBS disclosure (checked at no cost to you)
