Department: Residential Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time Location: Chestnut Rise – Plumstead **Compensatio:**n: £37,205 – £37,828 / year
Description
Do you want to make a difference to a child’s life? Then become a highly valued children’s residential care worker and start a truly rewarding career!
Hours: 173 hours per month. Long shift working (8am – 11pm, with sleep nights). This is a 365-day-a-year service due to the nature of the work. Rotas are provided in advance.
Pay:
- Salary of £37,205 to £37,828 per year, based on qualifications (£14.80 – £15.10/hour), with an average of 8 sleeps per month.
- Opportunities to buy extra shifts/overtime at an enhanced rate.
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Must be over 21 and have the right to work in the UK. Note: Unfortunately, no sponsorship is available.

The Role – Chestnut Rise
- A three-bedroom children’s home specialising in crisis intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic care
- Focus on high-quality residential care with tailored recreative activities (e.g. cinema, swimming, sports)
