We're expanding our services and are looking for dedicated individuals to join our established and supportive teams.

Our opportunities include:

  • Activity-Based Children's Homes Work in a unique therapeutic environment where outdoor adventure, exploration, and learning play a key role in helping young people achieve positive outcomes. If you enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, this could be the perfect role for you.

  • Specialist Education and Residential Provision We’ve also opened a specialist school for children with learning difficulties, incorporating residential care alongside day placements. The bespoke curriculum includes horse riding, outdoor learning, and practical experiences designed to help every child reach their full potential.

About Us

New Reflexions is a specialist childcare organisation providing high-quality care, education, and therapeutic services for children and young people who have experienced trauma and adversity.

Our residential services offer both short and long-term therapeutic placements for children and young people up to the age of 18, focusing on building positive relationships, developing independence, and helping every child achieve their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Residential Care Worker, you'll play an important role in supporting children and young people aged up to 18 who may have emotional and behavioural needs or learning disabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building positive, nurturing, and trusting relationships
  • Supporting day-to-day routines, including meals, personal care, and homework
  • Helping young people develop confidence, independence, and life skills
  • Encouraging participation in education, hobbies, and community activities
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing and responding calmly to challenging situations
  • Working as part of a therapeutic team to provide consistency and stability
  • Creating a safe, caring, and homely environment
  • Following a shift pattern that includes sleep-ins

What We're Looking For

You don't need previous experience in residential childcare – just the right values and attitude.

We're looking for people who are:

  • Compassionate, patient, and caring
  • Reliable and calm under pressure
  • Motivated to support young people to achieve their potential
  • Willing to complete a fully funded Level 3 qualification
  • Hold a full UK manual driving licence
  • Have access to their own transport
