Childrens Residential Deputy Manager
Location: Bradford (BD12)
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week + on-call rota
We are seeking an experienced Childrens Residential Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in delivering outstanding care within an Ofsted-regulated children's residential service.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced residential childcare professional looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in improving outcomes for children and young people.
You will support the management of the home, provide leadership to the staff team and ensure young people receive safe, consistent and child-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
- Lead, support and motivate the residential childcare team.
- Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance.
- Support care planning, risk assessments and reviews.
- Promote children's rights, participation and positive outcomes.
- Build effective relationships with young people, families and professionals.
- Support staff development, supervision and training.
- Ensure the home remains Ofsted-ready and compliant.
About You:
- Experience working within children's residential care.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and childcare practice.
- Leadership or senior care experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to improving outcomes for young people.
- Relevant childcare qualifications are desirable.

Please note: This role includes an on-call rota and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required.
