Children’s Residential Support Worker – Penrith & Surrounding Areas

About Wilderness Way
Whether you bring years of experience or are new to the field, this role gives you the chance to:
- Bring structure, support, and joy to vulnerable children.
- Work in a small, close-knit team (6 staff + managerial and multi-disciplinary support).
- Drive change—one child at a time.
Your Day-to-Day Duties
Expect nothing boring here! Your work will include:
- Providing emotional support and mentorship in a child-centred environment.
- Engaging children in creative, physical, and educational activities—from gardening and sports to music and hands-on crafts.
- Assisting with kitchen duties, personal care, and daily routine support.
- Working outdoors too—outdoor education will be a key part of your role.
