Heart & Home Living provides specialist residential care for children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). Our trauma informed, child centred approach ensures every child feels safe, valued, and empowered to grow.
We focus on delivering high quality care, personalised education and life skills development tailored to each young person’s individual needs, helping them build a brighter future.
The Role
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you’ll be part of a dedicated team creating a safe, stable and nurturing home environment. You’ll support children through challenges, build meaningful relationships and empower them to develop confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.
This is a rewarding role where you can make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

Qualifications And Requirements
- To hold NVQ/QCF/CYP Level 3 or Level Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent or be willing to work towards
- Understanding of current legislative framework and organisational policies
- Commitment to ongoing training, supervision, and development
Role Suitability Checklist
To meet the physical and practical demands of the role, you must be able to:
- Safely perform physical interventions and restraints (once trained)
- Walk long distances during outings and community activities
- Carry heavy provisions or equipment for trips and activities
- Get down to floor level to engage in play or therapeutic activities
- Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins
- Hold a full UK driving licence
