Childrens Residential Support Worker (Bank)

At Wilderness Way, we’re seeking passionate and empathetic individuals to join our team on a bank basis. If you’re ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with emotional, social, or behavioural challenges, we want to hear from you!
The Role
We’re looking for dedicated professionals who can:
- Provide compassionate care for children with complex needs
- Facilitate personal growth through structured activities, education, and individualised support plans
- Work flexible shifts, including day, night and sleep-ins, to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
- Act as a positive role model, encouraging children to develop resilience and confidence

What We’re Looking For
Essential
- A full UK manual driving licence (required to cover on- and off-site services)
- Willingness to complete essential training (including safeguarding, equal opportunities, and residential care qualifications)

- Prior experience in residential care
- Experience working with children or young people facing emotional, social or behavioural challenges
