Senior Life Practitioner (Children's Residential Home)
About the Role
Our Children’s Residential Home is seeking a Senior Life Practitioner to join our team at Apple Tree Bungalow, Swinderby, Lincoln.
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Life Practitioner to provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. This role ensures they enjoy fulfilling, independent lives through daily assistance and community outings.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Organise and accompany residents on community trips (shopping, meals, appointments, outings)
The team has access to a company vehicle for transportation. To drive this, you must hold a full UK driving licence or have driven in the UK for two years or more.
Starting Rates:
- Level 1: £13.99 per hour
- Level 2: £14.31 per hour
- Level 3 (experienced): £15.99 per hour

About the Candidate (Requirements)
Ideal Qualifications & Skills:
- Genuine passion for care and motivation to support others’ growth.
- Strong team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
- Resilient, self-aware, and comfortable asking for help when needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Computer literacy for modern work tools.
- Linked to the role: Experience or willingness to pursue a Level 3 in Children’s Residential Services.
