Exciting Opportunity for Experienced SLTs in Forth Valley
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced SLTs to take on a leadership role within the Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Service in Forth Valley. You will be supporting the SLT coordinator and the leadership team to implement innovative and sector leading work that seeks to improve outcomes for children with a range of communication needs in Forth Valley.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and supportive leadership team across Forth Valley and will have team lead responsibilities with a designated team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of skill in empowering others, promoting wellbeing and building a culture where staff can feel safe to innovate and perform at a high level.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the SLT coordinator and the leadership team in implementing innovative work.
- Demonstrate high-level skills in empowering others, promoting wellbeing, and building a culture of innovation.
- Have a clinical remit and significant experience in working in partnership with Education.
- Support team members delivering services at a universal, targeted, and individualised level.
- Build partnerships with team members from both SLT and partner agencies.
- Travel throughout the area of service delivery.

- The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk.
- As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
