To lead, develop, and pastor the church’s ministry to children (0–11), pre-teens (11–14), youth (14–18), and families — helping them encounter God’s presence, grow in community, and participate in God’s mission. This role will shape the discipleship of the next generation and play a key part in the future leadership and culture of Kings Road Church.

Kings Road Church is in a season of exciting growth, with over 100 people attending each week. We currently meet in a local school on Sundays and have outgrown our existing building. Plans are well underway for a new church centre on the original site, and we are seeking a leader who will help shape the future of our young people’s ministry for generations to come.

As Our Children's, Youth And Families Pastor You Will

  • Lead and grow a thriving ministry for children, youth and families, helping them encounter Jesus and flourish in faith.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, equipping them as primary disciplers within the home.
  • Recruit, develop and support volunteer teams, by creating a culture of belonging, joy and shared ownership.
  • Develop connections with local schools and the wider community, creating opportunities for outreach and mission.
  • Serve as part of the church's leadership team, contributing to the vision, preaching and wider ministry of Kings Road Church.
  • Help shape the next chapter of church life, including the development of our new building and spaces for future generations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
