At Albert Bartlett, we're passionate about delivering quality products to customers across the UK. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chilled Intake Team Leader to join our Airdrie site and lead our weekend intake operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing, warehouse operations, or logistics who is looking to take the next step in their leadership career within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
The Role
As the Chilled Intake Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the intake team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate receipt of raw materials into the business. You will lead by example, driving performance, safety, quality, and operational excellence across the department.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Chilled Intake team across the weekend shift
- Ensure all raw materials are received, checked, and booked into stock accurately
- Manage labour resources to meet operational requirements
- Monitor departmental KPIs and implement improvements where required
- Ensure all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Quality standards are adhered to at all times
- Conduct team briefings and communicate key business updates
- Support training and development of team members
- Complete shift reports and maintain accurate operational records
- Liaise effectively with Production, Planning, Technical, and Warehouse teams
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the department

Requirements
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to motivate teams and manage performance effectively
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Experience working in fast-paced operational environments
- IT literate with experience of stock control or warehouse systems
- Food manufacturing or FMCG experience
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance)
- Experience of intake, goods-in, warehouse, or inventory management operations
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
