Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Medway Community Healthcare. Nursing vacancies are also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses.

We’re looking for an Admin Team Leader to oversee a dynamic team and drive excellence across our service.

The Child Health Information Service (CHIS)

The Child Health Information Service (CHIS) plays a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of children and young people across Kent and Medway. We manage and provide high-quality child health data, working in partnership with NHS teams, schools, GP practices, and local authorities to ensure effective care from birth through to age 19.

Our Service Is Delivered Across Three Dedicated Areas

  • Newborn Screening – recording key health checks within the first year of life
  • Pre-School – tracking immunisations and developmental checks up to school age
  • School-Age – supporting health records through to early adulthood

From receiving birth notifications and informing health visitors, to managing screening programmes such as blood spot testing, hearing checks, and NIPE assessments, our team ensures every child’s health journey is accurately recorded. We also coordinate immunisations and developmental reviews, ensuring seamless communication between healthcare providers and families.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
