Chorus Manager (part-time)
Chorus Manager – Part-Time – RSNO Chorus
The Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) invites applications for a part-time Chorus Manager to support the administration, coordination and development of the RSNO Chorus—one of the UK’s busiest and most respected.
About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee:
- Choral rehearsals, auditions, and performances
- Membership communications in partnership with Chorus members
- Collaboration with the Chorus Director and wider RSNO team
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring efficient operational management for chorus activities
- Organising and planning both chorus rehearsals and performances
- Supporting administrative processes, including membership records, communications, and event logistics
This role is ideal for someone with:
- Substantial knowledge of choral/orchestral repertoire
- Experience in performing arts event organisation
- Strong administrative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across the organisation

Requirements
- Proven experience in a choral or performing arts administration setting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, balancing operational and developmental tasks
- Understood standard workflows within professional choral/orchestral environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a polished, formal tone in all correspondence

Contract Details
- Hours: Part-time (approx. 16 hours per week)
- Contract Type: Fixed term (until end of 2027)
- Salary: £33,500 pro rata (commensurate with experience)
- Closing Date: Thursday 16 July @ 12 noon
- Interviews: Week commencing 20 July 2026
