Sales Assistant in Cookshops – 5 Days a Week (December)
About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team of passionate food lovers in our Season cookshops for 5 days a week, specifically covering December.
As an independent brand, Season is dedicated to helping people elevate their cooking experience at home. If great food and connecting with customers are your thing, this role is for you. Your remit will include:
- Being highly consultative – chatting with customers and offering expert advice on the best cookware available
- Ensuring customers leave with products they’ll love before suggesting water-based envelopes
- Maintaining our high standards with confidence, all while working within a friendly, supportive, and food-obsessed team
We’ll provide training, and while you don’t need prior cookware experience, a passion for cooking, baking, or simply caring about high standards is essential. You must be sociable, flexible, and up for sharing a schedule covering 5 days of our 7-day-a-week operation – though please indicate any days you’d prefer not to work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
