Senior Visual Merchandiser – London
About Church’s
Church’s is a luxury shoemaker blending rich innovation with traditional craftsmanship, rooted in over 148 years of exceptional English heritage. Established in Northampton in 1873, it evolved from a modest workshop to a globally recognised brand.
Patronised by HM Queen Elizabeth II since 1965, Church’s joined the Prada Group in 1999, further refining its legacy. The brand reimagines its English roots whilst championing timeless craftsmanship, offering unique designs across men’s, women’s shoes and accessories.
Job Purpose
To be the brand ambassador, communicating and embodying Church’s philosophy and values to enhance customer journeys. Core tasks include:
- Ensuring individual and team sales targets are surpassed.
- Creating unparalleled luxury customer experiences by prioritising client needs.
- Building meaningful long-term relationships to foster brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Place customers at the heart of every interaction, ensuring a welcoming environment that delivers excellence aligned with the client journey ceremony.
- Log customer data into the Company CRM to enable personalised engagement and sustain relationship growth.
- Implement an omnichannel mindset, aiming for seamless experiences.

- Work as a team player, partnering across departments to foster continuous improvement, open communication and exceptional service.

Sales & Operations
- Create an exceptional in-store experience through proactive customer engagement and cross-selling.
- Meet individual targets and KPIs by upselling opportunities within the store.
- Stay attuned to fashion trends and competitors’ offerings.
- Advocate Church’s brand with expert knowledge while resolving customer concerns with manager support when necessary.
- Ensure high standards in visual presentation, shopfloor maintenance, and operational compliance, including security to prevent theft.

- Proven passion for sales and retail
- Curiosity for luxury/fashion, art, and design
- Experience in building long-term client relationships
- Strong teamwork and independent working abilities
