Our partner is seeking a Cideon / NextLabs Application SME (Techno-Functional), 70% Technical / 30% Functional, based in the United Kingdom.
About the Role
This position is a key technical authority focused on driving large-scale CAD and engineering data migration programs across complex enterprise environments. You will work at the intersection of CAD, PLM, and enterprise integration, ensuring data is accurately extracted, transformed, validated, and securely migrated using CIDEON tools. Acting as a hands-on SME, you will:
- Support system integrations
- Enforce data governance standards via NextLabs solutions
- Ensure compliance across global teams
This is a highly technical, execution-driven role where precision, structure, and scalability are critical. You’ll also contribute to improving migration frameworks and system reliability in distributed environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead, design, and execute end-to-end CAD/PLM data migration initiatives using CIDEON tools, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with program timelines.

Define and implement migration strategies—build extraction-to-cutover plans—while addressing data transformation, validation, and reconciliation across complex CAD/PLM ecosystems.

Collaborate with program managers, engineering teams, and global stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery under scope, budget, and quality constraints.

Troubleshoot migration, integration, and system-level issues across distributed engineering environments.

Develop migration standards, validation rules, and best practices to enhance repeatability and scalability of engineering data processes.

Ensure data consistency, governance, and compliance through NextLabs policy-driven security tools and enterprise-wide standards.
Requirements
✔ Technical & Engineering Experience:
- Proven expertise in CAM/PLM integration in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Hands-on CIDEON tools experience, plus proficiency with:
- AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks
- PLM/PDM platforms (e.g., SAP PLM, Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Autodesk Vault)
- Strong ETL/integration knowledge with APIs, scripting, and automation.

- Familiarity with SQL/Python/PowerShell for automation/data transformations.
- Bonus: NextLabs or policy-based security experience.
