Location: United Kingdom (partner-managed role)
This is a highly technical, execution-driven senior position focused on driving large-scale CAD and engineering data migration programs across complex enterprise environments. As a hands-on Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will bridge engineering data standards with enterprise integration and security, ensuring seamless transformations using CIDEON tools and NextLabs compliance solutions.
Successful candidates will collaborate with program managers, engineering teams, and global stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality migration outcomes—while improving frameworks for future projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end migration programs:
- Define and execute extraction, transformation, validation, and cutover strategies for CAD and PLM data in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Ensure accuracy, traceability, and enterprise alignment in high-pressure program timelines.

Engineering & system integration:
- Support integrations between CAD systems (AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, SolidWorks), PLM platforms (Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill, Autodesk Vault), and downstream enterprise applications.
- Maintain data consistency and workflow continuity across distributed systems.

Data governance & security:
- Enforce compliance policies, access controls, and security standards using NextLabs policy-driven tools.
- Work with teams to secure sensitive engineering and design data.

Troubleshooting & optimisation:
- Debug system-level issues in migration programs, integrations, and distributed engineering ecosystems.
- Drive improvements in validation rules, migration standards, and automation to enhance scalability and repeatability.

Collaborative delivery:
- Partner with program managers, engineering teams, and global stakeholders to ensure scope, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Communicate technical challenges and solutions to both technical and functional teams.
Essential Requirements
- Deep technical knowledge of CAD/PLM systems with hands-on experience in:
- CIDEON toolset and migration processes.
- CAD platforms: AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, SolidWorks.
- PLM/PDM systems: SAP PLM, Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Autodesk Vault.
- Enterprise integration expertise:
- Strong understanding of ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, Cad–PLM integration workflows, APIs, and middleware.
- Experience with API design, system communications, and large-scale data pipelines.
- Automation & scripting skills:
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, SQL, or relevant scripting languages.
- Ability to develop custom scripts for data validation, extraction, and automation.
- Security & compliance focus:
- Familiarity with NextLabs or similar policy-based security tools (highly desirable).
- Analytical & problem-solving mindset:
- Expertise in resolving complex engineering data issues in high-accuracy environments.
- Global stakeholder management:
- Excellent communication to align technical decisions with business objectives across distributed teams.
- Collaborative project leadership:
- Experience driving large-scale migration programs in regulated or distributed environments (e.g., manufacturing, automotive, aerospace).
