Cisco Alliance Manager

Strategy & Partnership Alliances Manager – Cisco

Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) – Flexible hours available

Drive strategic Cisco partnership growth and contribute to Softcat’s leadership in the technology solutions market.

About the Role

The Alliances team at Softcat shapes vendor partnerships to deliver market-leading strategic success. You’ll architect our Cisco partnerships, ensuring alignment across internal teams and vendors to support Softcat’s technology vision.

  • Develop strategic partnerships – Lead and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to align business goals with Cisco’s objectives
  • Enhance sales pipelines – Support and guide both internal stakeholders and external Cisco sales teams
  • Drive continuous improvement – Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), delivering compelling presentations to key decision-makers
  • Strengthen relationships – Foster trust and collaboration across internal departments and Cisco partners
  • Unlock growth opportunities – Identify and drive go-to-market initiatives, partnerships, and sales enablement strategies

Requirements & Skills

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in vendor partnership management or strategic alliance development
  • Leadership skills in QBRs, presentations, and stakeholder engagement
  • Certifications (sales, technical, or Cisco-relevant preferred)
  • Relationship-building expertise – Di diplomacy, emotional intelligence, and strategic collaboration
  • Analytical mindset – Ability to generate insights from reporting/data
