The Team
The U.K. & Ireland is our domestic and most mature market. Teams include commercial, operations, marketing, and strategy, with U.K. & Ireland teams collaborating closely with global departments such as product, technology, and consumer.
The Regional Growth team focuses on driving commercial success for our mid-market restaurant partners across the five nations—United Kingdom and Ireland. This includes our dark kitchen arm, Editions, and the dedicated Chinese Category Team. Each region presents unique challenges and opportunities, and our teams prioritise selecting diverse offerings for customers while providing growth opportunities for restaurants.
The Role
We are seeking a City Manager to join our North East & Yorkshire team. This role focuses on building strong relationships with local restaurant partners, enhancing customer value, and accelerating growth through data-driven insights.
This is an ideal position for someone who thrives on building relationships and deriving insights from data to fuel growth. You will report to the Regional Manager for North East & Yorkshire and will be based in our Leeds office.
What You’ll Do
- Local Authority: Be the industry expert for our areas in Sheffield & Lincoln, acting as the face of Deliveroo in these regions.
- Data-Driven Improvements: Use insights from data to refine the customer proposition tailored to local neighbourhoods.
- Account Management: Negotiate and support top-performing restaurant partners to optimise their growth on the Deliveroo platform.
- Hero Brand Expansion: Collaborate with Account Managers to grow local standout brands.
- New Partner Acquisition: Identify and onboard new or top local favourites to Deliveroo, ensuring their success.
- Sales Strategy: Develop a localised sales strategy, pinpointing critical gaps in value propositions and strategic focus areas.
- Customer Growth: Enhance the offering through acquiring local insight, refining selection, and collaborating with Restaurant Operations and Account teams to align with regional strategy.
- Marketing Activation: Drive restaurant participation in marketing opportunities to maximise local potential.

Requirements
- Proven experience in account/relationship management, sales, or strategy roles.
- A results-driven, target-focused mindset.
- Ability to leverage data on restaurant performance and regional metrics to find opportunities.
- Flexibility for fieldwork (2–3 days per week) and office/home work (2–3 days per week).
- Must hold a UK Driver’s License and have access to a personal vehicle.
