Working Hours
8:30am-17.00pm (Monday-Friday)
Salary
£35,000- £39,000 plus MJ Quinn vehicle
About the Role
Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Infield Assessor to join the business. This position will be field based covering the Midlands region.

Your Role Will Include
- Responsible for conducting generic and project specific health and safety inductions.
- Ensure engineers are compliant with both internal and client matrices by providing renewal of expiring/expired accreditation.
- Responsible for conducting tailored work stream training for engineers and subcontractors in the field working on various contracts.
- Providing training and guidance on environmental awareness, safety procedures and the necessary policies.
- Provide training across the safety and craft module portfolio.
- Ensure the safety and craft training is delivered in line with both MJ Quinn, awarding body and the clients standards.
- Ensure that engineers present themselves in line with MJ Quinn standards and seek support and guidance where required.
- Gain accreditation to deliver additional craft modules in line with the academy’s development plan.
- Support colleague’s development by providing help and guidance for additional assessor qualifications, in line with academy’s development plan.
- Provide tablet / device training where required.
- Creating great relationships with all candidates and supporting them through their training.
- In line with business needs you may also be required to support other patches.
- Keep accurate attendance logs for the courses and feed back to the relevant departments for pay purposes.
- Keep accurate records of test and practical assessment results and send on to the relevant departments.
- Facilitate the completion of any documentation required by different departments across the business.
- Raise any on the day issues to the relevant departments within the business.

Required Experience/ Qualifications
- Experience in coaching/ teaching in a relevant field (construction)
- Experience carrying out Civils’ and cabling works on underground Telecommunication networks.
- Experience on site works, methodology and network build approach
- Construction of Under chambers (ground 1- brick, concrete, modular) and the erection of Communication street-side cabinets
- Knowledge of the BT network
- Experience in blockages, duct laying, core drilling, slewing.

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in similar role of assessing/ teaching in the Civils’ industry
- Teaching experience/ qualifications are preferred as we will offer support/ training
