Civil Design Engineer
Civil Engineer A well-established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy seeks a Civil Engineer in Belfast for a hybrid role.
About the Role Located in Belfast (on-site) with flexibility for hybrid or remote working within commuting distance of the city centre.
Candidates must have UK/Irish experience and no sponsorship requirements.
Requirements
Applicants must hold or surpass:
- BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
- 3+ years of demonstrative post-graduate experience in designed Civil projects, specialising in Roads and Drainage
- Direct experience with design software: AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Site 3D, Causeway Flow, Microdrainage, or similar.

Professional attributes include:
- Confirmed competency in MS Word and Excel
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Design expertise within the UK/Irish construction market
- Technical knowledge of Civil Engineering components, such as:
- Drainage design
- Road design (including pipes, manholes, shafts, and cover slabs)
- Diverse sector experience: Commercial, education, and residential
- Commitment to professional development: Formal membership of, or pursuit towards, a recognised engineering institution (e.g., ICE [Institution of Civil Engineers]).
