About The Role
We're seeking a motivated Civil Design Engineer to work on a variety of residential development projects. With a strong focus on drainage and estate road design, this role offers the opportunity to apply your technical skills to real-world projects, contribute to consequential designs, and progress your career in a supportive work environment.
As a Civil Design Engineer, you will:
- Design drainage, services, roads, and earthworks for residential schemes.
- Prepare drawings from concept through to construction, including flood risk assessments, drainage statements, and service strategy reports.
- Contribute to the design of highway infrastructure under S278 and S38 agreements.
- Work on sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), utilising industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet statutory and client requirements.

Requirements
- Experience in drainage design for residential or development projects.
- Working knowledge of:
- Civil 3D
- AutoCAD
- MicroDrainage (or similar)
- Causeway Flow (or alternative tools)
- Familiarity with:
- Highway design
- Estate road design, including S278 and S38 considerations.
- Enthusiastic attitude toward learning and professional development within a consultancy environment.
