Civil Design Engineer

Are you a skilled civil engineer with a passion for designing sustainable infrastructure? We’re looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join our team and deliver innovative solutions for water and wastewater treatment projects.

Working as a key member of our Design Team, you will take responsibility for coordinating, reviewing, and developing civil design packages, ensuring every solution meets project requirements, buildability expectations, and regulatory standards.

In this role, you’ll lead the civil design scope across multiple projects, managing external consultants, liaising directly with clients, and ensuring designs integrate smoothly with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering disciplines. From feasibility assessments and technical documentation to design risk reviews and supporting construction phases, you’ll help deliver efficient, safe, and cost-effective solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle.

We're looking forward to expanding our team to Glasgow. Please note that the role requires for you to be in the office or on site at least 3 days a week.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
