Civil Design Engineer
Civil Design Engineer – Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Salary: £34,000 - £45,000 per annum Type: Full Time Region: UK - South West Town/City: Gloucester, Gloucestershire
We're seeking a motivated Civil Design Engineer to work on a variety of residential development projects. With a strong focus on drainage and estate road design, this role will give you the opportunity to apply your technical skills, contribute to real projects, and develop your career in a supportive team.
About the Role
As a Civil Design Engineer, you will:

Design:
- drainage
- services
- road infrastructure
- earthworks for residential schemes
-
Prepare drawings from concept through to construction
-
Produce:
- Flood Risk Assessments
- Drainage Statements
- Service Strategy Reports
-
Work on highway designs under S278 and S38 agreements

Contribute to the design of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) using industry-standard tools

Requirements
- Experience in drainage design for residential or development projects
- Working knowledge of:
- Civil 3D
- AutoCAD
- MicroDrainage
- Causeway Flow (or similar)
- Familiarity with:
- highway design
- estate road design
- S278 and S38 knowledge
- Enthusiasm to learn and progress within a consultancy environment
