Role Overview
This is a role for people who value independence, take responsibility seriously, enjoy working outdoors and are motivated to make a positive difference in their local community. As one of our Civil Enforcement Officers - also known as Traffic Wardens or Parking Attendants - you’ll help keep streets safe across London, accessible and fair for everyone. Every day is varied and engaging, requiring accountability, sound judgement and the ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
What You’ll Be Doing
Officers may be deployed via foot patrol, e-cycles, mopeds, or mobile enforcement units from bases across London where you will:
- Patrol assigned areas across London
- Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) in line with regulations
- Provide clear and professional communication to the public regarding restrictions and enforcement actions
- Provide a visible presence to deter non-compliance
- Accurately record enforcement activity using handheld devices
- Maintain health and safety as well as operational standards

Working Hours
- 42.5 hours per week
- 5 days on, 2 days off
- Shifts between 7:00am and 11:00pm
