Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC employs a team of Civil Enforcement Officers to patrol its off-street Car Parks as well as on-street traffic lines and signs.
The successful candidate will assist the Council in undertaking its civil parking enforcement responsibilities. You will join a well established team of Civil Enforcement Officers to form an enhanced enforcement presence on the streets of Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Your Duties And Main Functions Will Include
- Patrolling the Council’s off-street Car Parks and on-street parking in accordance with the Council’s Car Park Regulations and Parking Enforcement Policy.
- Identifying instances of unlawful parking and issuing Penalty Charge Notices, (PCNs), in accordance with the Parking Enforcement Policy and associated operating practices. This will include driving a Council camera enforcement vehicle.
- Ensuring the upkeep of appropriate records in accordance with legislation and operating procedures.
- Liaising with other Council services as appropriate to ensure the effectively delivery of the enforcement operation.
You will be required to work a 7 day shift rota involving lone-working with some unsociable working hours and you must wear the uniform provided when on duty.
