Civil Enforcement Officer
Civil Enforcement Officer – Traffic Warden / Parking Attendant
This role is ideal for people who value independence, take responsibility seriously, enjoy working outdoors, and are motivated to make a positive difference in their local community. As a Civil Enforcement Officer, you will help maintain street safety, accessibility, and fair parking enforcement across London.
Your work is varied—every shift is different, requiring accountability, sound judgment, and the ability to work in all weathers.
What You’ll Be Doing
Officers patrol designated areas via foot, e-cycles, mopeds, or mobile enforcement units across London. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting patrols in assigned areas
- Issuing Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) in line with regulations
- Providing clear, professional communication to the public about restrictions and enforcement actions
- Acting as a visible deterrent against non-compliance
- Accurately recording enforcement activity using handheld devices
- Maintaining health and safety and operational standards

Working Hours
- 42.5 hours per week
- 5 days on, 2 days off
- Shifts between 7:00am and 11:00pm
