We're seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Inverness. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, sustainable construction projects. This role would be suited to an experienced Section/Site Engineer in search of a new challenge or a graduate searching for your first role.
This role offers exciting challenges and exposure to a diverse range of projects, from roads and earthworks to drainage, housing, and distilleries. Experience will also be gained across temporary works and lift planning. If you're a dedicated and driven civil engineer passionate about construction, we encourage you to apply.

- Technical Expertise: Identify and solve engineering challenges across various projects, including roads, drainage, and more.
- Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to design standards and regulations.
- Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with site teams, acting as their technical liaison.
- Documentation: Prepare and deliver essential project documentation, such as RAMS and temporary traffic management schemes.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with clients, consultant engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Project Oversight: Attend meetings, conduct site visits, and monitor project progress.
- Commercial Support: Assist the commercial team with complex tender opportunities.
Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in relevant software (e.g. AutoCAD, Project, MS Office).
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred but not essential).
