Engineer in Training (EIT)
Position Overview
We are a growing Civil Engineering firm looking for an Engineer in Training. This is a ground-level opportunity to learn and develop your engineering skills in multiple areas of work while being mentored by the seasoned and experienced professional engineers that founded this company.
Your experience will not only include being responsible for small projects, but will also include assisting the team with larger, more complex projects. Our clients are everything to us and We Service Clients Well! Join our team and not only will you learn valuable engineering skills, but you will also learn client management and sales skills.

Qualifications
- ABET Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Required
- EIT certification preferred.
- Graduate Civil Engineer to 2yrs experience preferred.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office suite.
Responsibilities
- Work with experienced Project Managers to develop and design a variety of projects.
- Be responsible for daily production and creation of engineered drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Work with others in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Assist with engineering design to include basic calculations, site planning, site grading, utility layout and design, construction observation, construction management, payment application, and entitlements processes.
- Coordinate work-load and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Coordinate with clients and office staff to get projects completed.
- Other duties as assigned.
