Join Our Civil Engineering – Rivers & Coastal Talent Network

Are you a Civil Engineer, River Engineer, or Flood Risk Consultant ready for your next challenge?

We’re building our Rivers & Coastal Talent Network and would love to hear from professionals at all career stages across the UK.

Our Rivers & Coastal team works on some of the UK’s most significant and impactful projects, delivering solutions to protect people, property, and critical infrastructure while providing environmental enhancements and long-term sustainability benefits. You’ll collaborate with specialists across our multidisciplinary business to develop innovative solutions from concept through construction and beyond.

Join us and contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, including:

  • Nature-based Solutions (NBS).
  • Flood risk management and resilience schemes.
  • River restoration and river engineering projects.
  • Coastal management and shoreline improvement initiatives.
  • Lowland drainage and water management schemes.
  • Strategic infrastructure and development projects.

About You

We’re looking for passionate engineers and consultants motivated by solving complex challenges and making a positive impact. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geography, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in flood risk management, river engineering, coastal engineering, or a related field.
  • An understanding of project delivery across design, assessment, or construction stages.
  • Chartered status or a desire to work towards professional accreditation.
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and communities.
