Job Description

The Role:

A leading engineering consultancy firm across the UK is seeking a:

  • [CIVIL ENGINEERING GRADUATE] with 1–2 years’ of post-graduation experience.
  • Experience in design and structural analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities: You will join a team designing building structures across sectors including:

  • Offices
  • Retail
  • Residential
  • Industrial

The firm provides government training and support toward becoming a chartered engineer.


The Company

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 3+ years’ experience in:
    • Design of infrastuncture (residential, retail, industrial, commercial, education, other projects).
    • Experience in underground drainage systems.
    • Roadwork design to adoptable standards.
  • Liaison with statutory bodies, including:
    • Water Companies
    • Local Authorities
    • The Environment Agency

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in:
    • Civils3D
    • AutoCAD

Professional Competencies

  • Technical analysis and design.
  • Provide technical support for:
    • Report writing
    • Presentations

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Attendance at:
    • Design meetings
    • Site inspections
  • Construction site liaisons with contractors.

Operational Requirements

  • Must have a full clean UK driving license to access remote sites.

    • Contractors
