The Opportunity

Across our entire business, we are capitalising on strong growth and shaping our Water division’s strategy for 2026 and beyond, creating new and thrilling opportunities.

We partner with leading water clients across the UK’s South region, delivering some of the industry’s largest and most iconic water projects. Our work is informed by a community-centric approach, minimising environmental impacts while enhancing social outcomes. We enable the delivery of sustainable development and climate-resilient infrastructure.

In the High Wycombe, London, and Reading offices, we support clients in projects spanning:

  • Water & wastewater treatment
  • Water & wastewater networks
  • Storm water overflows
  • Urban drainage

Our pipeline encompasses challenging work across the project lifecycle, including:

  • Asset planning & strategy
  • Concept design
  • Outline design
  • Detailed design
  • Major Design and Build projects (partnered with contractors)

Our UK-wide team builds sustainability and community-focused infrastructure, setting new benchmarks for environmental impact.

For an experienced Senior Civil Engineer passionate about high-impact projects, we are looking to expand our teams in High Wycombe, Reading, or London—all locations benefit from proximity to railway stations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the civil engineering design of projects.
  • Collaborate with project design leads to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Mentor and develop our junior engineering team.

About You

This role is ideal for engineers with:

  • Design experience within the UK water industry (or related sectors).
  • A degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • Ideally, achievement (or near-completion) of professional accreditation (e.g., ICE or CIWEM).

Experience & Requirements

  • A mentalité for water & environmental sustainability.
  • A track record of successfully delivering projects.
  • Experience leading teams, collaborating innovatively, and driving strategic problem-solving.
  • Proven comfort with client-facing leadership, managing relationships and collaboration effectively.
