Whitehouse Construction is a leading Civil Engineering SME, operating throughout the Midlands region.
We are a family-run business directly employing our entire workforce on a PAYE basis, recognising that our people make our business the success it is today.
We work directly for a wide range of blue-chip companies such as the Environment Agency, Derby City Council, Manchester Airport Group, National Grid Electricity Distribution, Nestle, Severn Trent Water, and many more.
We are looking for a Civil Engineering Degree Level Apprentice to join our Civil Engineering team.
Day To Day Duties Will Include
- Setting out for construction works in busy process driven environments.
- Working as part of the site team to uphold site level Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) disciplines.
- Working as part of the engineering team, planning and managing your days/time to ensure all sites are supported as required.
- Working with support from our Site Engineers for guidance.
- Use of surveying instruments.
- Good Communication and CAD skills are advantageous.
- Maintain safe, efficient sites in line with our triple ISO accreditation.

Qualifications
- A Full Clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
- At least three A-Levels at Grades A* – C, including Mathematics and Physical Science or their equivalent.
- At least 96 UCAS points or above at A-Level or equivalent, to include Mathematics plus at least one further STEM-based subject – such as Physics, ICT, Computing and Electronics.
- OR will have completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship as a Civil Engineering Technician, plus five GCSEs at Grade A-C, including Mathematics, English Language and Double Science or equivalent.
