Are you an experienced Civil, Structural & Architectural Engineer looking to lead the technical delivery of complex, high-value engineering projects?

We are seeking a highly capable technical leader to provide expert oversight across a diverse portfolio of decarbonisation and infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to influence innovative engineering solutions, mentor multidisciplinary teams, and play a pivotal role in delivering projects from concept through to completion.

Working in a hybrid environment, you'll support multiple project teams across the UK, combining remote collaboration with regular site visits to ensure technical excellence at every stage of delivery.

The Role

As the Civil, Structural & Architectural Engineer, you will be the technical authority responsible for reviewing, governing and signing off Civil, Structural and Architectural designs across projects spanning RIBA Stages 2–6.

You'll work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, external consultants and clients to ensure designs are compliant, buildable, commercially robust and delivered to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the technical review and approval of all Civil, Structural and Architectural designs.
  • Provide expert guidance to multidisciplinary project teams throughout project delivery.
  • Resolve complex technical challenges and provide robust engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, HTMs, HBNs and internal governance processes.
  • Support commercial and procurement activities by reviewing specifications, tender documentation and technical scopes.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks across multiple live projects.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Work alongside Design Managers, Project Engineers, Mechanical, Electrical and Controls Engineers across several UK-based project teams.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through design reviews and technical workshops.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
