ABOUT PEGASUS INTERNATIONAL
Pegasus International (UK) Ltd. is expanding its multidisciplinary LNG and infrastructure advisory team. We are seeking highly experienced professionals for immediate engagement on a major LNG Terminal Project covering feasibility, FEED, technical assurance, commercial and PPP advisory, environmental and social safeguards, procurement, project controls and transaction execution.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Lead civil and structural design review for terminal buildings, process structures, foundations, roads, drainage, marine interfaces and resilience against seismic, wind, cyclone, flood and accidental loads.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop or validate civil/structural design criteria, load combinations and material requirements.
- Review site grading, roads, drainage, flood protection, utilities corridors, buildings and process-area structures.
- Coordinate tank, equipment and pipe-rack foundations with geotechnical and seismic requirements.
- Review marine/onshore interfaces, trestle approaches, shoreline structures and constructability constraints.
- Assess wind, cyclone, seismic, blast, thermal, impact, settlement and differential-movement loads.
- Review reinforced-concrete, structural-steel, corrosion-protection and durability requirements for coastal exposure.
- Prepare or review specifications, quantities, cost estimates, schedules and bid-evaluation criteria.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; master’s degree is preferred.
- Chartered Engineer, Professional Engineer or equivalent registration is desirable.
- Experience with structural analysis and design software is required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 12 years of civil/structural engineering experience, including at least 6 years on LNG, oil and gas, petrochemical, port or heavy industrial facilities.
- Experience with large foundations, pipe racks, coastal structures and seismic design.
- Knowledge of ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, ASCE, API and relevant marine standards.
- Experience in soft soil, flood-prone, cyclone-prone or saline environments is strongly preferred.
- Experience in FEED, EPC design review and site constructability is desirable.

WORK LOCATION AND MOBILITY
- Candidates must be willing to work from and support Pegasus offices and project assignments in the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Bangladesh.
- International and domestic travel will be required for project meetings, site visits, workshops, technical reviews and stakeholder consultations.
- Candidates must be able to obtain the necessary visas, security clearances, medical fitness and work authorization; Pegasus will provide reasonable support subject to eligibility and applicable law.
