Contract Temporary Works Design Engineer - Flexible Working Available
Our client is a well-established UK-based multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy delivering structural, civil, and mechanical engineering solutions across a diverse range of construction projects. Due to an increasing workload, they are seeking an experienced Contract Temporary Works Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and assessing temporary works solutions
- Producing structural calculations and technical documentation
- Delivering safe, practical, and buildable engineering designs in line with current standards and best practice

Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proven experience in temporary works design
- Experience using STAAD or other structural engineering analysis and design software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Robot Structural Analysis, MasterSeries, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of steel and reinforced concrete design
- Familiarity with British Standards, Eurocodes, and temporary works procedures
- Ability to work independently and deliver projects to programme
