We are currently seeking a Civil Works Supervisor - Nightshift, initially on a 6-month contract (with potential for extension), reporting directly to the Construction Manager, to join our Project team based in Teesside, NE England.
The successful candidate will be required to work some late shifts as per project requirement.

About the mission we offer you:
Technip Energies and their partners were awarded an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for the world’s first commercial scale gas-fired power station with carbon capture. The construction site is located in the Tees Valley in the North-East of England.
The successful candidate will be site-based once the site office is established but until then will work on a hybrid basis, attending the Milton Keynes, London, and Paris offices as required.
We are seeking a Civil Works Supervisor to ensure that construction civil activities on site are performed in full compliance with UK standards, rules, regulations and industrial relations.

- Site-based Discipline Supervisor shall oversee all work performed by the subcontractor or direct hire labour force ensuring that Project safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives are met.
- The Supervisor shall ensure that subcontractor follows the approved procedures, specifications, construction method statements and schedules.
- The Supervisor shall ensure that subcontractors have sufficient qualified supervision, skilled labour and plant to execute their scope of work safely and efficiently.
- The Supervisor shall instruct and guide subcontractors on day-to-day matters and shall be responsible for signing and authorising subcontractors’ daywork sheets.

Previous experiences:
- Experience in similar positions on large scale construction/engineering projects in the UK.
Proven competences
- NEC contract exposure
- Contractually, commercially, and technically aware.
- Fluency in English
- Must be eligible to live/work in the UK
- CSCS card and SMSTS qualification
