Civils Engineer – Intelli-Park Service Delivery
Location: Field-Based (UK Nationwide – regional hubs preferred). Birmingham home location would be ideal.
Reports to: Engineering Supervisor
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, with flexibility for overnight stays and variable site schedules)
Salary: £41,000 + Company Vehicle + Tools + PPE + Benefits

At Intelli-Park, our Civils Engineers are the foundation — quite literally — of every intelligent parking installation. As a Civils Engineer, you’ll deliver the essential groundworks and infrastructure that enable ANPR cameras, signage and control cabinets to perform reliably, safely, and compliantly. From ducting and cable trenching to column placement and reinstatement, your work is critical in making sites function — and your impact will be felt nationwide.

- Interpreting installation documentation and ensuring readiness for future-proofed ANPR systems.
- Supporting the early-stage infrastructure works that allow for digital upgrades and site expansion.
- Providing input into smarter, safer civil engineering methods in a fast-evolving tech landscape.
I – Intentional (Act with Purpose)
You’ll deliver with precision by:
- Installing ducting, columns, signage poles and cabling routes accurately and to spec.
- Ensuring cable avoidance, surface reinstatement, and structural integrity are completed to standard.
- Working from site plans and marking up any variations with full context and detail.

You’ll build together by:
- Collaborating with ANPR Installers, Electricians, Signage Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers to coordinate works.
- Representing Intelli-Park professionally on every site — whether public or client-owned.
- Communicating clearly with supervisors, Project Managers and the Service Delivery team.
T – Tenacity (Stay Switched On)
You’ll stay reliable and ready by:
- Travelling to sites across the UK, adapting to changing tasks, weather and client expectations.
- Managing complex groundworks while adhering to tight timeframes and technical needs.
- Keeping tools, vehicles and PPE in safe, working conditions at all times.
A – Accountability (Own It)
You’ll take ownership by:
- Following all Health & Safety protocols including RAMS, PPE use, and safe tool operation.
- Completing full documentation including install reports, photo evidence, and progress updates.
- Reporting hazards, risks, and snags to the Project Managers promptly.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Installing ANPR columns, signage posts, ducting, and control cabinets to specification.
- Using tools such as CAT4 cable avoidance, asphalt/concrete cutters, trenching gear and reinstatement kits.
- Conducting excavation, backfill, reinstatement and making good.
- Safely lifting paving, working at height, and navigating site hazards.
- Following Intelli-Park installation documents and recording site conditions clearly.
- Supporting installation readiness by checking survey data, site access, and permit status.
- Maintaining safety standards and taking responsibility for your area of work.

What You’ll Bring to the Park
- Proven experience as a Civils Engineer, Groundworker or StreetWorks Technician (minimum 2 years)
- CSCS or CPCS card (required)
- NRSW licence (highly desirable)
- Competence with CAT4 scanning and cable avoidance techniques
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations (manual handling, ladder use, etc.)
- Ability to work to detailed site plans, follow technical instruction and document changes
- A flexible, proactive mindset — comfortable with travel, overnight stays and variable schedules
- A clear DBS check (required)
