This role is based within Esh Civils which delivers infrastructure schemes of all sizes, including major capital projects. We work in partnership with local authorities throughout the North East, Tees Valley, Yorkshire and the Humber to deliver a variety of projects, including public realm, highways, flood alleviation, active travel and bridge works.
About The Role
We are recruiting a dedicated and technically proficient Civils Engineer to provide effective setting out, technical guidance, and on-site support across a range of civil engineering projects. In this key role, you will work closely with site teams to ensure construction activities are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with design specifications. Your expertise will help drive quality, safety, and performance on site, contributing to the successful delivery of high-standard infrastructure works.

What We Will Expect From You
- Ensure the accurate setting out and the safe construction of the works in accordance with the contract documents and the requirements of the client
- Ensure technical compliance and the safety of all operational activities
- Ability to assume site manager role and responsibilities when required for short term cover
- Maintain and agree with the client’s representatives, relevant site records and as-built drawings
- Ensure full compliance with contractual requirements and Company Quality Management Systems
- Provide accurate records and measurement details to enable the Quantity Surveyor to prepare monthly valuations
- Ensure exceptional levels of customer care

Qualifications
- Minimum HND or equivalent
- Technical training certificates
- Proficiency of Microsoft packages
- Experience of LSS/N4CE survey packages desirable
