My client is a leading Civil Engineering company who are delivering a key civils package on the HS2 programme and they are looking for an experienced Site Manager / Construction Manager to support delivery on a major infrastructure project within the BBV alliance.

This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll take ownership of day-to-day operations, leading teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with HS2 standards.

👉 Ideal for someone currently operating as a Site Manager, General Foreman, or Construction Manager in civils who’s comfortable working in a Tier 1, highly regulated environment.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading day-to-day site operations across civils and structures work
  • Supervising:
    • Site teams, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Delivering works safely and in line with:
    • Approved RAMS
    • Drawings and specifications
    • Programme requirements
  • Driving high standards in health, safety and wellbeing
  • Ensuring quality compliance through Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Coordinating plant, labour, and materials to maintain progress
  • Supporting Temporary Works implementation (TWS level or above)
  • Managing site-level issues and feeding into change control processes
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting digital systems (e.g. QA records, inspections)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
