Claims Adjuster
Claims Adjuster – Cyber
Location
London
Purpose
Handle cyber claims from first notification through to settlement, delivering a high-quality claims service while working closely with:
- Incident response teams
- External vendors
- Key stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cyber claims within delegated authority from First Notification of Loss (FNOL) to settlement
- Coordinate with forensic, legal, PR, and other incident response providers during cyber incidents
- Maintain accurate reserves, identify recovery opportunities, and minimise claims leakage
- Build strong relationships with:
- Policyholders
- Brokers
- Underwriters
- Capacity providers
- Work closely with underwriting and product teams to provide feedback on claims trends and policy wordings
- Ensure timely claims administration, file management, payments, and management information reporting
- Escalate significant claims issues where appropriate and maintain compliance with FCA and Lloyd’s requirements

Skills & Experience
- Minimum three years’ claims handling experience
- Preference for experience in handling cyber claims or working with cyber incidents/forensic investigations
- Strong understanding of insurance policy wordings, with advantage if specific to cyber and technology policies
- Experience working with legal, forensic, and other incident response providers
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
- Familiarity with ECF (E-Learning, Claims & Finance) and strong Microsoft Office skills

Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent is preferred
- DIP CII, ACII, or legal qualification desirable
