Are you an experienced Cyber & PI Claims professional ideally with knowledge of London Market claims processes and procedures with a minimum of 5+ years experience?

What the day will look like

In this exciting role, you will be primarily responsible for the management, strategy and process for the notification, agreement, collection and successful settlement of a portfolio of Cyber & PI claims for a truly global and diverse client range. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • First notification of loss, advocacy and to settlement conclusion of a range of Cyber & PI clients claims matters
  • Negotiation and liaison with markets, clients, placement teams, specialists, network offices, underwriters and appointed authorities (loss adjusters, lawyers etc).
  • Conduct data analysis to establish the claims history for a particular client or business portfolio, and to identify trends and patterns in claims for a client or business segment
  • Negotiate the payment and settlement of claims with clients and underwriters
  • Coordinate discussions and, where appropriate, meetings to ensure superior level of communication between the client, underwriter and their representatives concerning the proposed settlement.
  • Engage with the Head of Professional lines Advocacy in the strategy to conclude contentious claims
  • Daily use of ECF with market and client facing claims advocacy
  • Working as part of the team and autonomously

Office attendance minimum two days and three days per week on a rotational basis.

Detailed knowledge of product lines, with at least 5+ years London market experience

Opportunity to work on other PI lines of business, including Architects, Engineers, Brokers E & O, law firms.

This role is integral for this client sector within the professions team, and could involve some travel and exposure to other lines of professions claims.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Detailed experience in handling claims for national and international clients over various business sectors for Cyber and primarily professional services firms for PI with at least 5+ years London market experience
  • This role will include both client and market facing requirements and organising, co participating in person and team meetings
  • Previous experience interacting with senior client stakeholders and risk manager would be advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years + London market Cyber experience required, knowledge of IP and AI claims would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Professional Indemnity Claims and confidence to coordinate and initiate discussions with our networks, clients, underwriters and experts
  • Experience of the CLASS and ECF Processing system core skill requirement
  • Proficient in word and excel
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Full cycle client account ownership from FNOL to settlement conclusion
  • Keen to apply product line knowledge to enable exceptional client claims outcomes
